Grab every moment!
I am writing this from the comfort of my trusty Green Van seat…
After a lovely relaxing day off with Wife and youngest offspring, at 3pm I began the School run. With today being Thursday, I had a kit bag ready for Isaac. For tonight is Basketball club night! Which I also happen to coach…
We arrived, I coached, he played… much fun was had!
After packing away, heading home and sitting down to a homemade Chicken and leak pie (Wife points 3000!!!!) Isaac changed into his second lot of kit of the night…. This time Beavers! Time to go and ‘Be prepared’ and all that jazz… He loves it, and I love the life experiences he gets from it.
So far though… I have not had my fix of exercise… “Andy No Good, When Andy Have No Exercise… Andy Get Cranky”
So I decided to don my running tights, a day glow top and my ‘silly shoes’ as my darling daughter likes to refer to them as!
It was raining, dark and bloody miserable if I’m honest, but needs must!!!
If I didn’t do it at this very moment, the moment would pass! A short, but sweet 4.4k later, and a bit damper than when I left the Village hall car park, I was back… The work, life, exercise balance had been restored!
So here we are, back at the beginning of my story. Sat in my ‘fun bus’ grabbing yet another moment in time to do something I love… Writing pointless little blogs for a few people to read and hopefully find a little inspiration from!
So the moral of this story is… Grab every moment and ‘Make reality great!’
